At Tsartlip First Nation, we believe leadership is about more than titles—it’s about connection, care, and community.
On May 7th, we hosted a Transformative Leadership Training led by the Len Pierre, bringing together supervisors, managers, and team leads for a day of reflection, unlearning, and growth.
This was more than just professional development. It was a moment of collective alignment—where our team leaned into what it means to lead with empathy, accountability, and cultural integrity.
Together, we explored:
- Responding to lateral violence with care and accountability
- Leading through trauma-informed and values-based practices
- Recognizing and addressing burnout
- Navigating courageous conversations
- Reimagining leadership beyond colonial systems
Our team showed up with openness, vulnerability, and a deep willingness to grow—not just for their roles, but for the wellbeing of the community we serve.
We are proud to foster a workplace where leadership is relational, healing-centered, and rooted in Indigenous worldviews.
To Len Pierre—HÍSW̱KE for guiding us through such a powerful experience.
To our team—your reflections, insights, and commitment to leadership in action continue to shape a stronger Tsartlip.
We’re building a workplace where leadership grows from the inside out.
