Project Update: Platform Replacement Project

The Platform Replacement Project, which commenced on June 19, is progressing well and remains in full swing.

Progress Highlights:

• Site Safety and Security:
  The site has been fully secured with appropriate fencing and safety signage in place to meet Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements. All work to date has been carried out with safety as the top priority.
• Demolition Phase Completed:
  The existing platform structure has been fully removed and properly disposed of, marking the successful completion of the demolition phase.
• Landscaping Progress:
  The landscaping team has completed a partial scope of work, contributing to site cleanup and preparation for the upcoming stages of construction.

Schedule Update:

The project’s early phases — including demolition and partial landscaping — were completed successfully. However, the overall schedule has been impacted by external market pressures and late-stage scope changes.

Specifically, increased tariffs on imported metal components and the late addition of a roof to the platform (requiring structural redesign) have affected both cost and material availability.

These factors have contributed to delays and added pressure on the schedule and budget.

The team is actively exploring alternative sourcing, substitute materials, and design adjustments to minimize further delays while keeping the project within budget.

Despite these challenges, we remain committed to efficient progress and are currently targeting project completion by the end of October.
