HOMEMAKER SERVICES
Homemaker services are provided by trained employees involved in the performance of light housekeeping, light meal preparation, escort tasks and shopping assistance to Tsartlip First Nation’s members who require assistance with these activities in their place of residence.
Homemaker services are available for the following eligible individuals living in the Tsartlip community, pending assessment by a registered health care provider (RN):
- 1Adults with chronic illnesses, experiencing acute exacerbation of their symptoms in which short term assistance is required.
- 2Members recovering from acute injury or illness.
An individual residing on reserve who has been formally assessed by the Home and Community Care RN as requiring social support services will be eligible for homemaker services.
