With longer days and summer upon us, Tsartlip drive has increased traffic and many children playing outside near and on the road. The road has hazards and people speeding through which is dangerous, so we would like to remind everyone to please drive safely and to be aware of any hazards.
Tsartlip recently did some minor improvements with speedbumps and asphalt. In the medium term, we will consider other possible minor improvements, such as signage and bigger speedbumps.
In the long term, Tsartlip and ISC are still committed to moving forward with the redesign and rebuild of lower Tsartlip drive (both the road and drainage) but we will re engage with community members along lower Tsartlip drive to ensure they would be supportive of any reconstruction project that would move forward.
