Tsartlip’s Stewardship and Referrals Department is tasked with the sacred responsibility of restoring ecological systems and improving Tsartlip’s relationship with the relatives of the land and sea to ensure Tsartlip can continue “to hunt and fish as formerly.” Under the skilled leadership of Stewardship Department Director Will Morris and the Department’s advisory committee, the Department carries out its work through an ever-growing spread of projects including environmental monitoring, staff training, and more.
