My name is Tua Va’a
I am proud member of the Wsanec Nation and have family ties to the Samoa. I grew up herein Tsartlip and have lots of good memories spending time with families and friends.
Over the years I’ve developed a passion for fitness and sports. My development began at Velox rugby at the of 11yrs old; during my early years as a player, I had the opportunity to be a part of the BC U18 and Canada U20 program. Later, I spent 8 years with senior men’s division 1 and the premier division program. In 2017 I was a part of the BC bears men’s rugby program and went on to win the Canadian rugby championship. In 2018, I competed at
the Can-West CrossFit games and more recently 2020 I competed in the BC fall weightlifting qualifier also, the same year I completed my online CrossFit trainer level 1 course.
My recent interest is boxing, and I have now been involved in training since the beginning of the year. I’m very excited to share my wellness journey with my community and looking forward to work with each of you.
