The Public Works and Housing Department is responsible for the overall management of tangible vertical, horizontal, and water infrastructure within the Tsartlip community. This includes the oversight and ongoing management of aging infrastructure, implementation of lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies, delivery of capital projects, and the development of a long-term master plan to guide sustainable growth and community well-being. The master plan outlines key initiatives such as revitalizing the village core and constructing new community assets, including a Wellness Centre, Childcare Centre, and Sports Field. Currently, the Department is also supporting the short-term housing priorities identified by the Housing Committee, including urgent repairs, housing replacements, and new construction.
