What is the W̱JOȽEȽP Negotiations Department?
W̱JOȽEȽP hired a negotiator to lead nation-to-nation negotiations and secure lasting outcomes for our people. Guided by the Douglas Treaty, Section 35 of the Constitution, and UNDRIP, the department’s purpose is to:

Meet the Negotiator
SȾHENEP (Adam Olsen) is a proud to be W̱SÁNEĆ and a member of W̱JOȽEȽP and has lived in community his whole life. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in Crown and Indigenous governance, intergovernmental negotiations, and public service. Adam works to advance rights and rebuild the Nation-to-Nation relationships needed to secure land, funding, and recognition.
