We are looking for an experienced leader with strong title and rights, environmental and stewardship acumen who will join our Management Team and play a key role in developing Tsartlip’s Stewardship Department. The Director of Stewardship will oversee Tsartlip’s participation in reviewing and responding to all referrals in our territory and proposed projects that could affect Tsartlip’s interests and Douglas Treaty rights. This position will also lead the development of local technical and science capacity to establish and support the program; involve community engagement on marine and land stewardship initiatives; and proceed with development of long-term marine monitoring and stewardship activities.

Tsartlip First Nation is located adjacent to Brentwood Bay which is about 20KM north of Victoria, BC. Occupying a beautiful tract of land along the Saanich Inlet. The Nation has approximately 1100 members with about 620 living on reserve.
